Ornamental

This is a Christmas quilt that was made with multiple techniques. The stars are created using foundation piecing. The foundation papers are attached as part of the pattern. The ornament blocks are created by first making a square and then using a 4” drunkards path template to cut around the ornament then sew the white inner curve drunkard path pieces around it. The pattern lists how to make all of the different ornament blocks. The fabric used was from a line called “Poinsettia Plaza” designed by 3 sisters and manufactured by Moda. This is an intermediate pattern and techniques for using drunkards path templates can be found on my Youtube channel Sew-N-Quilt.
