Stars in Stripes

This was just a fun playful quilt. By putting stripes into the quilt the stripes read as a medium print and stand out against the colors that read more as solids. The pattern also shows how to put the fabric with stripes in so that all the stripe lines are going the same direction. The fabric is this came from a line by Primitive Gatherings called “American Gathering” manufactured by Moda but any patriotic colors would look great in this flag quilt.
